I consider myself to be a liberal. Some liberals call themselves Progressives. One reason for the new term "progressive" is because the term "liberal" has acquired a negative connotation. The mission preserved the lives of others in Bin Laden's compound when a bomb attack, much safer and easier for our military, would have killed everyone in the compound including many children.
