Alleged gay slurs, spitting lead to assault arrest

A 25-year-old Belfast man was arrested early Sunday morning, May 8, after he allegedly used gay slurs and spit on a man's shoes at a local bar.

Cunningham said House used gay slurs to address the alleged victim. Sgt. Corey arrested House and transported him to Waldo County Jail. House is scheduled to appear Tuesday, July 5, at Fifth District Court in Belfast.
