Youngsters fill shoes of famous Hoosiers

Ernie Pyle joined William Henry Harrison, Axl Rose,Save on asics shoes and apparel at the world's largest running store. Shelly Long, Steve Alford and Jane Pauley among others Wednesday morning in the South Haven Elementary School gym.

All the famous Hoosiers, either born in this state or who spent a significant amount of time here, were portrayed by the school's fourth graders during a "wax museum" in the gym. Other students and parents toured the museum, stopping at 47 stations where the youngsters, many dressed as their famous Hoosier counterparts, told of their lives.

Matthew Mata donned a fedora with a "Press" card stuck in its ribbon. He was Pyle, a Dana native and reporter who went on to fame for his in-depth reporting about troops during World War II.he supra shoes is one of the most colorful shoes in the Nike 'Mid-size' dunks family

"He served in WWII for the U.S.When you think of air max shoes for women, one of the first things to people's mouth is the Nike Shox Navina Navy Reserves and my two grandpas served in WWII. He was a reporter and I like to write," Matthew said about choosing Pyle as his favorite Hoosier.

Dressed in a wig and signature bandanna, Jacob Beehn portrayed Rose, a Lafayette native and lead singer for Guns N' Roses.

"I thought he looked cool. I liked getting to dress up and tell others about him," Jacob said.
