Zomp tailors advertising approach [jordan fusion]



Footwear boutique chain Zomp has taken a creative approach to promote its offering via the State of Design Festival.

In line with the the festival's theme, the Melbourne-based retailer has created an installation to represent “Design That Moves”, which will be displayed at its Flinders Lane store from July 18 to August 1, as part of the “Look.Stop.Shop” section of the State of Design Festival.

“Look.Stop.Sheepskin shoes has managed to capture or become the pioneer into every imaginable sporting industryShop” is a design-led walk through Melbourne’s City Centre which highlights special window displays and in-store installations from a selected group of retailers.

The Zomp 3D diorama will be a characterisation of shoes, following their lives by tracking their journey through the different contexts of life set in the Melbourne cityscape. The excess materials, which include shoe boxes and cartons, excess paints and dyes, old and vintage shoe samples have also been used to promote recycling and sustainable design.
